Terafence for OT/IT
Convergence

Where Every IoT Counts

New trends in the industrial arena call for large data extract from OT often including large number of IoT devices. These devices need to be accessed and the retrieved data is stored and analyzed on premise or even in cloud applications for enhancing production.
The requirement for access is a considerable cause for concern as it is exposing the core business, the OT network, to cyber-attacks like never before where a strict Air-Gap has existed between the two networks, protecting the OT from harm.
Terafence line of products enable constructing a safe and secure convergence of IT/OT networks by physically segmenting (a physical galvanic separation) at the lowest possible hardware layer for a complete isolation. Terafence will proactively acquire data from the OT devices / services and will securely forward the raw data via a proprietary FPGA* chip to the IT side, making available for services to collect, enabling an uninterrupted data flow. Terafence can acquire data from 350 different PLC’s and SCADA servers in their native protocols, easily. The data is then converted to OPC/UA TAGS and sent to the IT side. Some protocols are forwarded as is without conversion. (See table). * Chip designed and manufactured by Terafence
