Hezi brings more than 25 years of experience as an executive in hi-tech companies operating in Israel, US, Japan, Europe & Africa. Prior to Terafence, Hezi was the CEO of PineApp, where he grew the business to a multi-million dollar business. He also held several key positions in Orbotech as R&D engineer and head of Far East operations, as well as serving as VP sales and OEM relations at VCON. Erez holds a B.Sc. in Electronics and Computer Science from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
Prof. Palti has founded and managed a number of successful hi-tech companies – among them Novocure, which manufactures and sells cancer treatment devices in over 250 Medical Centers worldwide. In 2015, Novocure IPO’d in NASDAQ, with an initial valuation of about $2Bn. Professor Palti was the head of the Rappaport Institute for 12 years, the medical research arm of the prestigious Technion, as well as Associate Professor of Physiology at the University of Maryland’s School of Medicine. Professor Palti is the author of more than 50 US patents and numerous scientific papers, and is Professor emeritus of Physiology & Biophysics at the Technion.
Mr. Buky Carmeli is the Founder and Former Director-General of the Israeli National Cyber Security Authority and the Former Head of the MOD Cyber Defense division. Carmeli, an Electronics Engineer, served for more than 17 years in 8200 military unit in various managerial and C4I development and operational positions in the field of Intelligence and Cyber; Mr. Carmeli has been one of the early entrepreneurs in the Israeli cyber security field since the early ’90s, and today advises to various governmental and private companies; Mr. Carmeli is also the official Cyber Security advisor of the Israeli Central Elections Committee to protect Elections in Israel against any technological or cyber-based interferences.
Liat is responsible for all the company’s Financial, HR and operations.
She has over 14 years of experience in Finance for several companies in High-tech, industry and commercial.
Liat graduated from Haifa University (BA in Accounting and Economic 1998-2001), Certified Public Accountant (2002).
Prior to Terafence, Liat worked at Speedbit Ltd as Director of Finance , CFO at Cybonet (former PineApp Ltd.), Controller at Brooks Keret financial services and senior manager at Ernst Young.
Nimrod brings over 14 years of experience in various Production and Technology roles in both Hi-tech and Low-tech industries.
Prior to Terafence Nimrod Held Key position in Caesarstone as Product development Manager and Head Technologist.
Nimrod also held various positions in Tower Semi-Conductors and Intel.
Nimrod holds a B.Sc. degree in mechanical Eng. from the Technion Institute and an E-MBA degree from the Haifa University.
Ayal brings over 30 years of entrepreneurs and technical experience in communication, computing, chip and FPGA design. Ayal co-founded ASP solutions (massive parallel computing), Charlotte’s Web network (Terabit/core routers), TangoTeck (G.hn home networking) and Terafence and held technical positions at Intel and Satixfy (satellite communication).
Ayal hold degrees in M.Sc and B.Sc in Electronics Engineering, Practical engineering and MBA, all, from the Technion Institute of technologies.
Avi Biton brings over 30 years of business & technical experience in key Development management positions in Israel and the US. Prior to Terafence, Avi was the VP R&D at PineApp, responsible for designing and developing All PineApp New Generation systems. He also held list of key positions at Amdocs. Avi holds a B.Sc degree in Computer Science from the Technion Institute, and an E-MBA degree from the Tel-Aviv University.
Levy co-founded Zoran Corp. in 1981 and served as its President, CEO and Director for nearly 30 years until its acquisition by CSR in 2011 where he served as a Board Director until its acquisition by Qualcomm in 2015. Zoran directly and via its acquisitions, pioneered several Consumer Electronics markets with its System On a Chip (SOC) and Software Solutions including, Digital Cameras, Digital Audio, DVD Players & Recorders, HDTV/Converter Box and more. Over the years, Zoran products and technologies have powered several billions systems.
Prior to Zoran, Levy was Associate Director of Stanford University’s Electronics Labs, where he conducted research and taught. He served on the Consumers Electronics Association’s (“CTA”) Board of Industry Leaders between 2006 and 2013 and he was inducted to the CE Hall of Fame in 2014. Levy has been recognized with several awards for his industry leadership, pioneering and impact.
Dr. Gerzberg holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, an MSc in Medical Electronics and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel.
Mike is the Chief Executive Officer for Innosphere, a 21 year old, 501(c)(3) technology incubator that serves more than 40 startup companies annually. Innosphere exists to support high-growth technology startup companies in Colorado. Innosphere has earned the distinction of being the technology incubator for Colorado State University, University of Colorado, Colorado School of Mines, and NREL. Innosphere has operations in the three most significant technology centers in Colorado’s growing entrepreneurial ecosystem. Mike works extensively with strong technical founders and early stage ventures.
Mike is the General Partner in the Innosphere Fund and the Israel-Colorado Innovation Fund. His degrees are from the University of North Carolina and Master’s degree from George Washington University.
